things I keep my eye on…

technology

DSC_0443Apple was a fruit and a one a day, kept the doctor away kind of a thing. When I was growing up, Mac, ipod, lap top, ipads iphones, google, to name a few were not part of the lingo. Would I be dating myself if I mentioned, over-head-projector? Pro-ject this: Education has far surpassed what anyone could have predicted back then, thanks to all this technology. The ability to pique a child’s interest and harness the paths of an individual’s ability to absorb knowledge, or for that matter, research information, is astounding to me every day. I am only so grateful to be so willing to be open enough to continue learning. If you know someone, no matter their age, take them to a computer class, iphone class, any “i” class. It’s a fabulously, ever changing techie world we live in! Stimulating and educational to infinity & beyond!

☞ smOke n' mirrOr filmsOlivia Geyelin has been "shooting" film and still photos since she could hold a camera. Her dad, a videographer and currently spending the majority of his time working with CBS, shoots most interviews with 60 Minutes. Because Phil Geyelin has been in the television news industry, Olivia, as a young girl had the opportunity to interview G Gordon Liddy.

Hence, It's no surprise that she's confident and a natural as she sweeps the room at a wedding, or other special occasions, comfortably and knowing how to capture that special split second. It's entertaining to watch a
video in which Olivia draws the viewer into the emotionality of a person you've never even met. Olivia, with her ability to ask just the precise question in an interview, brings meaning and understanding to your video, albeit corporate, special occasion, or even transforming a once in a lifetime vacation footage into something riveting and timeless, to share with everyone.
