“Never, ever give up…” – Admiral William McRaven

2789877386afd9caf59b11a9e1b7e90f-1“The little things in life matter, make your bed. It’s the first task of the day, and that leads to the next task, and the next, and so on. Then, if you have a lousy day, you can come home to a bed, that you made, and be proud of something you accomplished.”

Admiral William McRaven, a 36-year veteran Navy SEAL and commander of the forces that killed Osama bin Laden, delivered a rousing commencement speech to graduates at his alma mater, the University of Texas at Austin.

Today, make it a fabulous day, rain or shine. Open the pools and let the summer fun begin! AND somewhere in this day, remember our soldiers who serve for our country, and remember all of them who were lost. Think of their families amidst the celebration, and celebrate them too.
I thought this was apropos for this holiday. Listen to this while you make your bed.
